The Indian Post &
Telecommunication Accounts and Finance Service (IP&TAFS) is civil service
or a competitive exam in India conducted by Union Public Service Commission
(UPSC) India.
The exam is held for
the recruitment of Department of Telecom & Department of Posts in
India. The Indian Post & Telecommunication Accounts and Finance
Service is a Group "A" Central Civil Services of the Union of India
Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality:
A
candidate should fulfill any of the following criteria :
Candidate
belonging to categories any of the (2), (3), (4) and (5) categories should
provide eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
Ex-servicemen eligibility:
The
term ex-servicemen will apply to the persons who are defined as ex-servicemen
in the Ex-servicemen. The age concession will not be admissible to
Ex-Servicemen and Commissioned Officers including ECOs/SSCOs, who are released
on own request.

A
candidate should have attained the minimum age of 21 years and should not have
completed the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination.
The
following candidates will have relaxation in the upper age limit:
Cumulative Age relaxation:
SC,
ST and OBC who are also covered under other clauses mentioned above will be
eligible for grant of cumulative age-relaxation under both the categories.
4. Number of attempts:
The
maximum number of attempts restriction is effective from the examination held
